Being Positive | #2

When it came to writing this blog post, I found it hard to write. I had it all in my head and it sounded great, but now when it comes to writing it, I'm feeling a bit nervous quite frankly! Anyway let's give it s go!

When I saw this quote on pinterest I looked at it for a while and thought a lot about what it really meant. The less you care the happier you will be? It's a hard one to figure out and it took me quite a while. But I figured it out it made a whole lot more sense than it did before. If you hold on to things and get really upset by the little things you will find this relatable.

I've always been a sensitive girl. I hate when my friends have arguments, I really despise it when me and my sister argue. What sets me off though are the little things...if someone doesn't put any kisses to my then I instantly think they don't like me. If someone ignores me I thing they are rude and I worry about how they feel about me. They might've not heard me or seen me.

Seeing this quote made me realise that I hold on to things and if I could just let them go, life would be a whole lot easier. I needed to stop worrying about how people felt about me and focus on what's important. Friends will come and go, true friends will stick with you.
So if you're feeling stressed about something like no kisses ( yes I know it's sad :D) just don't care, you'll be a lot happier. Take it from me, I'm doing fine.

Fashion | Day To Night

Hello fellow bloggers! Sorry I haven't blogged in a long time! Time does fly by, doesn't it? My friend Bailey was round and we were reading Zoella's Blog(like who doesn't?!) and saw the fashion posts. So we decided to do a mini photoshoot of day to night outfits!

Here they are!

Enjoy :)

DAY:

Considering it's winter, you always want something warm and comfortable and this jumper says it all!
It's thick so can be worn without a coat and definitely plugs Disney. It's not too "I LOVE DISNEY" and I quite like that. What's better than topping it with a pair of jeans, eh?

Jumper: H&M £14.99
Jeans: PRIMARK £11

NIGHT:

This dress is a lovely white-to-blue ombré dress. It's lace with a lovely cotton layer underneath
and adjustable straps. The bag is Michael Kors and I got this for my birthday. It's cream leather and looks really nice with the dress; this can be used both day and night aswell!

DRESS: CITY BEACH AUSTRALIA $49.99
BAG: MICHAEL KORS
The bag was from McArthur Glenn Outlet in Leeds so it was discounted!

Top Tip: Designer Bags are always cheaper in Outlets, go there first!

Hope you enjoyed this blog post! Sure to be doing one on Christmas soon (*smiles with excitement*)!

Top 5 school tips!

Hello everyone, back to school this week I see! *cries into blanket*

School, for me, can be very tiring and they do put a lot of pressure on people. So, I was thinking -
Why don't a do a blog post on school tips?

Not a bad idea eh?

1. Do your homework the day you get it. This is because if you get it over and done with you wont have all your homework build up. Then you can have all your free time at the weekend.

2. Don't say anything about anyone you wouldn't want to day to their face. As we all know, girls like to gossip. And the worst thing is getting the end of it. Don't say anything that would upset you if it was about others because you don't want all your friends turning on you for being mean. Let me tell you, it's not nice.

3. Try not to get too many detentions. A few are alright, I guess, some people do like a little chat *laughs to herself because she just described herself*. Loads of detentions for beating someone up is not good.

4. Don't let other opinions get in the way of what you like. Try not to let other people's opinions affect yours. Do the things you want to do and eventually you will find friends who have the same interests as you.

5. Finally...have fun! You dont want to be known as the misery guts do you? Have a little fun! Don't go too far though, some teachers don't like having rude comments thrown at them!

Thanks for reading lovelies

Catch you all soon

New week, Fresh Start | #1

When someone says to you, thank you that really helped, don't you feel good about yourself? Does it make you feel like a great person? Well it does for me and I would really like to share with you why.

When secondary school came, it was a big shock me, and it did knock my self confidence. I felt overpowered by all the older children (obviously I wasn't the only one!) I was getting worried that I wouldn't hand in homework on time or that teachers expected too much from me and I wouldn't be able to accomplish that. It's like a door being accidentally slammed in your face - not that anyone could relate - but its sudden, not meant to be like that and surprising. However, one night I was laying in bed and said to myself, why are you scared of something that's going to happen if it won't happen because you won't try? I realized that I shouldn't be scared at a place that is safe, they can't tell us off if we don't achieve what they set us. I wasn't going to be worried anymore.

So, I did this and I actually felt good, even if I didn't reach my goal. But the thing is, if you can teach yourself to make you be heard you can teach others too. This doesn't have to being school it could be anywhere, after school clubs, team events etc. I just want you to finish reading this post and tell your self that there is no such saying as I'm a nobody, because no one needs to be told that, even by themselves.
And that's a fact.

Well, hello there!

Hi.
I'm Ciara and this is my blog. I'm 14 and from Wiltshire, I love art, photography, and all things style. I have one sister and I live with my mum and Dad.
One day I was reading one of my favourite blogs, Fabulous Hannah, and I said to myself: how cool would it be to have my own blog?
Do you know what I mean?
But I never got round to it.
So 3 weeks later I find myself behind a computer screen, raging with excitment on what will happen with this blog!
I can't wait to have a good old chit chat with you all, and talk about things I love.
Where I'm only 14, I start my GCSE's soon so I will definitely do something on them!

Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?

Hope you enjoyed this brief introduction!

Happy Blogging!
